I always wanted to visit East Malaysia
since I grew up in West Malaysia
With the limit of my annual leave,
I managed to plan a 2-day visit at Kota Kinabalu (KK)
因为我是在西马长大的,
所以一直都很想去看看东马
由于我的年假有限,
我只安排了2天的亚庇行程

We had our breakfast at Kedai Kopi Melanian in the morning

I have pre-booked a snorkelling tour for this day
through Amazing Borneo
The trip costs RM195 for foreigner
and RM185 for Malaysian
It is cheaper if you travel with a bigger group
A driver picked us up from the hotel
with a minivan in the morning
then we arrived at the jetty
After processing the paperwork at the office
we hopped on to the boat
and started our snorkelling trip
We first snorkelled at the cluster of islands
that make up Tunku Abdul Rahman Park
then went to another place for the second snorkelling section
Some snacks and coffee were prepared

司机在早上的时候
以一辆小型巴士到酒店接我们
然后我们便抵达码头
在办公室处理了文件后
我们便上船去
开始我们的浮潜之旅
我们先在有群岛组成的
东姑阿都拉曼公园浮潜
接着到另一个地方进行第二阶段浮潜
他们也有准备一些小吃和咖啡

After we have done the snorkelling
we had lunch at the Sapi Island
There were a few selections to choose from
but drinks except water required additional fees
The island is small but relaxing
change rooms are available on this island
but they were very dirty…

I have actually done some research online
before the trip
The Coral Flyer was one of my bucket lists
as it is the longest zipline in Borneo
Without hesitation,
we paid for it when the staff advised it was available
It costs RM86 for foreigner and RM64 for Malaysian
It is a little bit expensive for just one activity
but totally worth it when you can fly between two islands
and enjoy the amazing sea view underneath!

我们在Sapi岛享用午餐
有好几个选项可以选择
但是除了水以外的饮料都需额外费用
那个岛挺小的但是却很舒适
岛上也备有更衣间
但它们都非常脏...
很多游客也在那里参与一些水上活动
我在这趟旅途前
已经上网查了一些资料
Coral Flyer是我清单中的一个项目
因为它是在婆罗洲中最长的溜索
事不宜迟，
我们在员工说可以进行这项活动时马上付了钱
价格是外国人86令吉，马来西亚人64令吉
就这一个活动来说，是有点贵的
但是当你可以在两个岛之间飞
同时可以欣赏底下美丽的海景时是绝对值得的!
With the excitement from ticking off my bucket list,
the tour came to an end
We got dropped off back to the hotel
It was still quite early for dinner
so we went to Suria Sabah first

a famous frozen yoghurt brand in Malaysia
you can choose the size of the cup
and add on the toppings you like

Dirty Bom
a kind of pastry with lots of chocolate toppings
your lips will get dirty when eating
that's why it is called Dirty Bom
However, the one we bought wasn't nice
I was quite disappointed

一种加了很多巧克力配料的点心
吃了嘴唇会脏
所以叫作脏脏包
但是我们买的那个不好吃
我挺失望的
After strolling at the shopping mall
we went to the
that we found the day before
to have our dinner
A little tip for you:
it is better to travel with Malaysian
and order your food in Malay
so you can bargain for a cheaper price
The pictures of the food we had are shown below
We do not recommend the lobster
as it was really expensive
and it did not taste as good
The huge prawn had a similar size with the lobster
and it was relatively cheap and delicious

给你的一个小贴士：
最好跟大马人同行
然后以马来文点餐
就可以讨价还价
下面有我们吃的食物照片
我们并不建议点龙虾
因为它真的很贵
而且味道不怎么好
那个大虾跟龙虾的大小差不了多少
而且相对便宜又好吃

we walked to the Durian Market again
to have some fruits

Before ending this post
I would like to add on a little information
about the KFC we had on the next day
prior to the flight
it was at the airport ground floor
the reason why I must introduce it
is because I am so proud of the KFC in Malaysia
even an Australian
claimed it is much nicer than the KFC in Australia
Cheesy Wedges is one of my favourites
I personally recommend it as a must try
if you visit KFC in Malaysia
because it does not sell in every country

关于我们在隔天上飞机前
吃的肯德基
它是在机场的一楼
我一定要介绍它的原因是
因为我很为马来西亚的肯德基骄傲
就连一个澳洲人
都认为这肯德基比澳洲的好吃
Cheezy Wedges是我的最爱
我个人推荐如果你去了马来西亚肯德基
必须尝试它
因为不是每个国家都有卖的

the taste of the chicken rice
does not lose some proper chicken rice restaurants
有些配套是包含鸡饭的
而且让我来告诉你
那个鸡饭的味道
根本不输给一些真正的鸡饭店
