Suddenly, inspiration struck,
and I decided to write this blog post.
I've been living in Australia for nearly nine years
Back in the day,
I came here to study in the Blue Mountains.
I can't believe I've never written about it!
Let me give you a quick look into what I know about the Blue Mountains
or maybe share some of my favourite spots.
突然灵感来了
就开写这篇部落格了
想说我在澳洲生活快9年了
当初来这里就是在蓝山念书的
怎么就没有写过一篇关于蓝山的部落格呢？
下面我就大概介绍一些我对蓝山的认知
又或者说我常去的地方吧
The Blue Mountains is a collective term for
a series of plateaus and mountain ranges.
Among the areas it encompasses,
the most famous is the Katoomba region,
renowned as a popular tourist destination.
The Blue Mountains are located about a 2-hour journey west of Sydney
and can be reached by public train.
蓝山是一系列高原和山脉的总称
包含的区域中最出名的就是卡通吧地带
是著名的旅游胜地
蓝山是悉尼以西2小时的距离
可以搭公共火车到达
I didn't take many photos of the school buildings,
so let me show you a glimpse of my fresh-faced self when I started 😅.
The school is called Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School,
now part of Torrens University.
It has campuses in Leura and Sydney CBD.
It's a renowned hospitality school in Australia,
and you can find our alumni working in many hotels across the country!

学校的全名是Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School
现在属于Torrens University的一部分
分别有卢拉校园和悉尼市中心的校园
在澳洲是有名的餐旅业大学
基本上澳洲的各大Hotel都可以找到我们学校的校友哦！
This is the Blue Mountains road I captured back in the day,
and yes, it's that steep!
这是我当年拍的蓝山路

This is a picture I took from the internet
to show you how Leura Mall looks like
Basically just two streets of shop,
but it's known as the "most artistic town."
Definitely worth a visit!

为了展示一下卢拉镇的样子
基本上就是两条街的店
但是它有“最文艺的小镇”之称
值得去看看哦
This is a Thai Restaurant that we used to go a lot
it has a branch in Katoomba too
the food is really delicious
it's a go-to spot for many students
这是一家我们常去的泰国餐厅
在卡通吧也有分店
食物非常美味
是很多学生的常去之处
This is a teapot museum
where you can also enjoy afternoon tea.
They have a vast collection of teapots inside.
It's definitely worth a visit!
这是一家茶壶博物馆
也可以去喝下午茶
里面收藏了非常多的茶壶
值得一去
Just like I mentioned earlier,
Katoomba is the most famous tourist destination.
The Three Sisters and the Scenic World
are located in this suburb.
The photo above is a snapshot of me
with the Three Sisters from back in the day.
就像上面说的卡通吧是最出名的旅游胜地上面的照片就是我当年跟三姐妹峰的合照啦
These two pictures are
the train at the Scenic World.
It's the steepest railway in the world.
Scenic World is a World Heritage-listed area
featuring the mentioned train
and two cable car routes,
offering stunning views of the forest landscape.
这两张是在风景世界里的火车
它是世界上最陡峭的火车
风景世界是世界遗产保护区
有上面所说的火车和两条缆车路线
可以欣赏森林景色
For restaurant in Katoomba
I would suggest this Chinese Restaurant
I have returned there even after I graduated
在卡通吧的餐馆的话
我推荐这家中式餐厅
我甚至在毕业后都还有去吃过

I used to work part-time at this hotel
and like what you could see from the pictures
it's stunning
you could enjoy high tea
while viewing the majestic mountains scenery
A very beautiful hotel

它非常震撼
可以在那里边享受下午茶
边欣赏雄伟的山脉景色
是非常漂亮的酒店
Wentworth Falls is famous for its waterfall.
The photos above were taken in the park there,
which is perfect for a picnic.
温特沃斯瀑布以瀑布闻名
以上的照片是我在那里的公园拍的
非常适合野餐
⑥Blue Mountains Botanic Garden
The Blue Mountains are beautiful in the fall.
You can visit the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden
during autumn (from March to May).
However, it's not on the train route,
so you'll need to drive to get there.
秋天的蓝山很漂亮
可以在秋季的时候（3月到5月）
去蓝山植物园打卡
但是这里不在火车路线内需要开车才能到达
I've been to this place
to see the stars and sunrise twice already,
and it's truly amazing!
Highly recommended!
Having spent some time in the Blue Mountains,
I know how beautiful the night sky can be.
If you're not planning to stay overnight,
you can drive there in the early morning
to stargaze and then rest in the car
while waiting for the sunrise.
You can check the visibility of the stars
and the sunrise time online beforehand.
A friendly tip is,
even in the summer,
remember to wear long pants and a jacket
because the temperature in the Blue Mountains is generally quite low.
我已经去这里看星空和日出两次了
真的太爽了
非常推荐！
因为曾经在蓝山呆过一段时间
所以我知道蓝山的夜空可以多么漂亮
如果不打算在那里过夜
可以凌晨开车到这个地方看星空
然后在车里休息再等日出
星空的可见度可以提前上网查
日出时间也一样
温馨提示就是即使是夏天
也要记得穿长裤和外套
毕竟蓝山的温度一般都是比较低
